Rottweiler Breeders in Tennessee, Rottweiler Puppies For Sale in Tennessee

Welcome to our first blog! We are so pleased to be able to start writing about all things Rottweiler as well as other breeds for you to learn and enjoy! I thought it would be nice to give you the backstory of how Rocky Top Rottweilers came to be. My name is Mike and I have been in the dog training industry for over 45 years. I still enjoy it as much as I did the first time I trained a dog to be a wonderful companion. I used to run my own dog kennel and volunteered at obedience clubs where I was able to train dogs of all different sizes and breeds which is where I really got my start. While I love all dogs big and small, Rottweilers have always been my favorite. A couple of years ago, I decided to retire from construction and my wife, Denise, and I moved from Florida to Tennessee. We were able to find a 13 acre ranch to start our own family of Rottweilers (thanks so much to my wife who agreed to let me do it!). We have now decided to start our own business once again, I’ve really missed it. Not only am I a Rottweiler breeder in Tennessee, but I am a trainer for all breeds of dogs as well. Training is one of my biggest passions. I am so proud and excited to introduce you all to our family of Rottweilers – Lacie, Jagger, Auna, Vita, Luke, Kane and Tessa, our two Yorkshire Terriers, Kodi and Penny and our two Maltese babies Finn and Molly!  We hope you will look to Rocky Top Rottweilers for your new Rottweiler puppy or for training for your canine friend!

We’re also expecting puppies, puppies and more puppies in 2018!   It’s going to be a big year here at Rocky Top Rottweilers!

I have learned so many tips and tricks over the years on how animals behave and how they perceive us as human beings.  A dog needs 4 things: exercise, boundaries, consistency,  and affection and in that order. If you want your dog to take you seriously and trust you, you will want and need to focus on the 4 details mentioned above. Dogs are pack animals and as such they need to have one person to follow.  We can teach you how to become that leader for them.  Don’t worry, we will be there with you every step of the way!  We will also teach you more about this and provide helpful tips in future blogs!

We are looking forward to writing many more blogs on training, on our Rottweiler family, on our puppies, and so much more!  Please remember to check back here often as we find new and interesting topics to discuss.
